| If anybody is interested in building stages, please leave a short note here which stages you're going to do. No need for double work. And when you're finished, you can post the stages here, to keep them in one place. I'll regularly update this first post to have a good overview. And at the bottom (in the spoiler) there's a prioritised list of races/stages still to be done, if someone wants to lend a hand. Finished (the name of the race is a clickable link to the uploaded file): British Championships (RR & ITT): wackojacko Eddie Soens Memorial (basic): wackojacko East Midlands Cicle Classic (basic): wackojacko Lincoln GP: wackojacko An Post Rás (2010): wackojacko Tour of Britain (2008): wackojacko Tour du Faso (2008): wackojackoSibiu Cycling Tour: wackojacko Tour de Singkarak: wackojackoTour d'Algérie: wackojacko *stage 4 apparently corrupt*Central European Tour - Miskolc GP: MrDeKatCancer Council Classic: MrDeKatWork in progress: London Surrey Cycle Classic: wackojacko Tour de l'Avenir (2010): wackojacko Giro d'Italia: Hermi & Fus87 Le Tour de Filipinas - Padyak Pinoy: Jaroslav Tour Down Under: MrDeKat Tour of Norway: markene Planned: WC 2011 RR (Copenhagen): Fus87 WC 2011 ITT (Copenhagen): Fus87 Tour of the Battenkill: Fus87 American Championships RR: Fus87 Univest GP (2010): Fus87 South African Championships RR: Fus87 GP de Québec: Fus87 GP de Montréal: Fus87 Tour of South Africa: Fus87 Irish Championships RR: Fus87 Rund um Ascheffel: Fus87 Giro Nortorf: Fus87 Jurmala GP: Fus87 Danish championships RR: Jaroslav? Apart from plotting the routes in bikeroutetoaster and knowing a whole lot about the race I haven't done anything. So you're very welcome to take over, but be prepared that I will go over the stages very critically... | |

| Come to think of it, I have done more: Using impish's GPS Kicker I have imported the GPS routes into a XML file. Of course these are only rough versions, the gradients etc. will need some work, as do the waypoints. But if you want, I can send you these files. | |

| Nah I have most of the stages in XML format - it's just the 3D Version that needs doing. And seen as I just copy and paste from other stages, your verswion will probably be much better.
Anyway, here are all the other stages I promised: http://www.mediafire.com/?u0olzec0be2r04y

| Now I'll try and get the Tour de l'Avenir ('10 version), the Sibui Cycling Tour (basic version) and the Tour de Singkarak done. | |

| Most stages are indeed very good, but there are a couple of issues: ITT stages (as far as I know that only applies to the British ITT Championships) need a 'itt="1"' in the first line (at least in PCM06), it should read: 'start altitude="56" itt="1" /' (and of course the < and > around it, but if I include those the text disappears... ) Maybe it works without the 'itt="1"', but I have my doubts. Some of the stages have cobblestrokes. These only work correctly if they're placed on a "special" road (the narrowest road available). I sent you (wackojacko) a PM about that already. This applies to the East Midlands Cicle Classic, the Lincoln GP and at least one stage in the Tour du Faso. Finally, in the Lincoln GP, there's a short section on the Michaelgate climb at -13% (that is, a downhill). My guess is that this should be an uphill (+13%) instead. Also, I'm a tad confused about the Tour of South Africa stages. Will you do that one, or do you suggest that I continue with mine? That would be fine with me, I just need to know. | |

| yes, you should continue with SA.
I've never had a problem without that ITT start thing in 07 but I dunno what it's like in 06.
All the cobblestones are on 'special' roads so there's no problem there at all. they just turn pink in the final (3?) kilometer, but still work as cobbles.
And the Lincoln route is just what I got off bikeroutetoaster and I don't wanna change it cos it will knock the whole course outta whack.

| Here are the Tour de Singkarak and the Sibiu Cycling Tour, using the best route information I could find - which, for Sibiu was very little, while google maps isn't fantastic in Indonesia. But they should work and both have quite interesting routes.

I didn't check the cobbled stages in detail, I just noticed they had cobbles and thought of the possible problem. And as it took me the better part of a year to find out what that problem was, I assumed you maybe didn't know about it. About the "ITT start thing" I suggest that crxfod simply inserts it in the file, to be on the safe side.

| Can anyone find the race routes for any of the North African races? I'm finding it impossible to find any info. | |

On a quick search I was able to find some guide for the Tour de Algerie available here. As for the Maroc races I don't have a clue where to get routes from.

| If you can make the stages based on maps (isn't there a google map waypoint converter or something?) here's the Tour du Maroc 2011 (its 2011 although it says 2010) http://www.marocainecyclisme.com/images/pdf/TM2011.pdf
Edit: And the Phosphatier Challenges: http://www.marocainecyclisme.com/images/pdf/Challenge_Phosphatiers_2011_v2.pdf
